Savannah van den Roovaart

When I look at the world and life around me, I see a lot of suffering caused by people and can't help but take action. As an activist, documentary and autonomous photo- and videographer and as a human being with empathy I capture what I believe is broken within our system and those who fight it. The violence inflicted by the systems we live in is so vast that we might not know where to look anymore. Easily feeling overwhelmed by all that demands our attention, I tend to shed light on the individual to make it personal and more tangible. 

I hope to create more empathy and care for each other, our environment and ourselves and hope to create courage and passion to fight the current systems.
